little UX annoyance .. running on a laptop with 1366x768 screensize the fixed size window is too high - so at least the version number isn't visible which would be nice to check after installing a new version..

Hey Jey, I'm with you. For a long time, I kinda felt like I owed Synergy for a lot of use that I never paid for. Fantastic program! Ver beta 4 didn't like my Linux machine so I, like you and a lot of others on this forum, am back on ver 1.8, waiting for beta5. But, hey devs!, patiently waiting.... don't rush...we can wait...get it right...patiently waiting.

Look at what Synergy does for you. A few years back, power users had machines that had dual processors. Then multi-core processors gave you more even processing power. Now, look at what Synergy has done for you. Look at the incredible computing power literally at your fingertips. Two, 3, 4, ... Computers! linked together into a super-system! By a program that for a long time was free, then so inexpensive

From what I've read this is a bug in beta4 and is not a long term solution.
