although I will always support open source, a company may a have good reason for closed source. security can be one of those, and since they are moving to cloud stuff this can be a reason for doing this. @Nick Bolton do you have a good reason for making this project closed source? just curious.

im not looking for a refund, im sure it will be perfectly usable at one point or another. Ive been using synergy for nearly as long as it existed so its not like its not worth the money either way :P.

I really enjoy V2 Beta. Nick - Thx for enabling it for me I don't think most are power users in the sense of sysadmins or people working in terminal/cli all day. I tried configuring v1 by myself and hated life for an hour or two until I remembered that I needed to configure the other computer monitor (under configure server). V1 works perfectly but it's definitely not targeted to the general audience. V2 on the other hand.... My grandma could set this up. The only change that I needed to make was the firewall on my Win10 computer. Host is Linux. I'm waiting until v2 GR b

Hitting F12 is totally intuitive... why it was simply the first thing I thought of when I saw the two icons representing my machines. Good grief. Is there at least a simple guide to go with this? I saw a post about other keyboard shortcuts, but they're pretty much limited to make server (F12) and show log (~). Which were determined by the poster by hitting all key combinations. My Mac is my server, my PC one of my clients. The PC just shows a progress bar, and there's no reaction when my mouse moves in the direction it's located in the window. What's the progress bar mean?
