  1. I had a similar problem, but was able to resolve it with the below procedure. Steps 1-3 are likely the most important. I don't think all steps are necessary or that the order needs to be 100% how I list it, but this is exactly what I did and it is working for me now: Remove any existing Synergy install from Mac using AppCleaner. Essentially launch AppCleaner and then drag and drop the Synergy App Icon, from the applications folder, into the AppCleaner Window. If it says something about 'protected apps' then go into the AppCleaner preferences and uncheck 'Protect running apps' and try aga

  3. I have used Synergy for a very long time, from the point where it was even the open source versions initially. Have come to love the version 1, cannot wait for version 2 to be complete. Just purchased it early the moment I saw that in my inbox offering it. Some key things that need to be adjusted or when extra features are being added back in: Ability to use a keyboard on one system and mouse on the other. I have a 4 screen setup between 2 systems (2 each) and one has a really high performance USB keyboard, the other has a USB basic keyboard and performance mouse (host). I have it ho

  5. Don't worry, not a problem. The auto-detect is based on the user. So it won't even be aware of any other Synergy installs on the same network.

  6. Good question. You can add users to your account, and they can either sign in with their own user/password or use yours (which will create a separate profile).

  9. Perhaps try this. It worked for me. You may need to adjust the steps based on the platforms you are using Synergy with. The main idea is that any legacy installs and/or their remnants may be causing issues with connectivity. https://symless.com/forums/topic/4026-getting-mouse-and-keyboard-to-work/?do=findComment&comment=16674

  12. @Nick Bolton think you can oblige us users with this as a pinned posting? Or another of the dev team? I'll ask really really nicely. "Pwetty pwetty pweaze"

  14. The price has actually been increased from the original $5 to $15 (actually $19), but you have a full Synergy 2 Pro license. You pay $5-$19, and you get access to the FULL Synergy 2 Pro license. You will be able to update to final release in November of 2017.

  15. I can second that, when it showed the preview tag line in my inbox, it did also say $5, but for $15 in the email itself, I don't mind paying that for it anyway.

  16. after reviewing logs and noticing it never saw the apipa interface address I changed my "symless" interfaces to 10.10.10.10 and 10.10.10.11 respectively and rebooted, they connected and f12 handed over command to the windows server. Thanks!
