  1. Hello, I would be interested in a way of disabling mouse input for synergy but maintaining keyboard connections. I like logitech flow because it maintains my mouse hotkeys on each computer, something that synergy doesn't do, but because I don't have a logitech flow keyboard I don't have the keyboard functionality. I would like to be able to use synergy for my keyboard connection, and logitech flow for my mouse connection. Currently if I run both, I can sometimes get it to transfer screens with Logitech Flow, but once I interact with the client computer via keyboard, synergy takes over the

  3. Wait a sec. You're screwing with launchctl? I guess to disable the service and stop Synergy from running? If so, when do you need to do this?

  4. Solved/Success: What I did ... 1. Completely remove Synergy from Ubuntu 16.04 using Ubuntu software (you may have to reboot if you have not done so since install to populate Ubuntu software) 2. Go to Files and search for Synergy (Activate hidden files with Ctrl-h) 3. Delete anything Synergy related (besides .deb file downloaded) and empty trash 4. Reboot system (precautionary) 5. open terminal in directory of .deb file 6. install manually with: sudo dpkg -i synergy-v1.8.8-stable-25a8cb2-Linux-x86_64.deb 7.
