After installing Synergy 2.0 on 2 pc's upon reboot the software did not load before login. I have one kybd and I had to switch my kybd and mouse to the other machine to get both of the programs going before I could use Synergy.

As it is now we get the possibility to buy the early acces to synergy 2. Problem is what features there are at the moment (other than whats already at version 1) or current plans. Does those that have synergy 1 get any benefits and so on. In one way it just hey we got this new stuff that we won't tell you much about give us the money please. Would hope this is something you guys could do as i think its quite lacking. Well, that was easy to setup. 2 Win10 and 1 Mac Mini w/Sierra. Install was intuitive and simple but really lacking interactive dialog that would have made it a nicer experience. I'm sure that will come later. What doesn't work for me: My initial install is in the middle. Second Win10 is to the right, Mac Mini is on the left. When I turn all of them on, mouse skips from left to right and right to left - ignoring the middle computer. So, can only have 2 running at one time. I see no place to change settings to allow for a reset of login credentials, computer layout, etc. Related to this is being able to see which account I am logged into. I can see this being necessary if I log in with my own account at home and a work account at work. Or even better would be to allow for the registering of two accounts or profiles to indicate which computers I want to link to at a given time.

While I agree with jjffnn's comments on the lack of polish the program has, we have to remember that this is a beta and we are working out the bugs for the programmer that would not find them on his/her own. They have a paradigm in their head as to how this works, and can't see how people would ever use it outside of that paradigm. We are breaking it and finding edge cases for them to program to.
