Sir Logic 4
With 2.01 I am getting a lot of the following: debug: Handler failed to process core client message: HelloBack: debug: Terminating core client read loop which promptly ends my connection to the other desktop... which makes my mouse and keyboard jump back to the controlling computer... it usually re-connects after several seconds, but it is really annoying... Did not have this problem with 2.00 Also noticed that it seems to hang-up on the edge of the screen for a second many times --- when it does, it give open clipboard and close clipboard messages in the log
Brad Hawthorne 0
Same error message here too. 2.0.2 on Fedora 27. But this happens right on start up, so it doesn't work at all for me now. raymonddoran 0
I am having the same problem. My MacBook pro is my server and I connect and disconnect regularly from my network but my windows computer stays put. I thought it was because of that but I kill synergy and restart it with the same issue.

Jaico99 0
same error, has anyone had any luck at all? I have tried two different systems but getting same error then took these two systems to a different house with a different router and lan setup and still the exact same error
FenderBender 1
I have two Windows systems that sit next to one another and am seeing this error. I'm lucky because the back panels of the towers are right next to each other so I can easily swap the USB mouse for input. The only solution I have found for this issue is restarting both of the Synergy processes while both PCs are running. If I reboot one PC while the other is running I still cannot connect, if I reboot the other still nada. If I reboot both I still can't connect but if both are running and I swap the mouse and restart the process via the control panel they will connect. Rather annoying. I had assumed there was an issue with the router at the site I was working at. It is a 10 year old Netgear that I cannot believe has not melted in all those years but I've also tested back at my main site using a new ER-X and I get the same errors. I've submitted logs to the developers, I suggest you all do the same so they can try and replicate.
DirkV 2
I am having the same issue. It was working great until this week...
dm1681 0
I was having this issue on my Linux machine. To fix it, I deleted the config files in ~/.config/Synergy and/or ~/.config/Symless. This forced me to log in again and then it started working. Hope this helps someone.
DirkV 2
Yeah I spend about 30 minutes every time I start my 3 computers on this. and the only way I get it eventually is to stop the synergy process in my shared computers and then at some point it connects. I can't wait for the update when we can control what is what with this great program. Cause it seems like the auto connection thing is beyond their understanding. And when you bring up things of this nature all that is said is do you want a refund? No I don't, I want a working program and help to get it to functionality. But you are a minority of customers who are having a hard time so you will need to wait for the update that may fix the issue. Wow...
Birch 0
Let's build the number of customers then - I'm having the same issue and no, I don't want a refund.
