Rimers 0
Hi Just installed Synergy2, but unable to get it working. Setup is as follows, Server: Windows 10 dual monitor, Client: Ubuntu Linux 16.04 dual monitor sometimes i get a green icon for the Server but not never for the client, also the client have core dumped a few times. Uploaded log from main PC (Win10)Ā https://synergy-logs.symless.com/2017-10-04/2903-2017-10-04T11-26-11.log Unfortunally the Ā“ log access does nothing on my Ubuntu Linux 16.04, is there another way of uploadingĀ logs. (have tried several key combinations with Ā“ ) Ā /NilsĀ Ā
GranPaSmurf 108
First, work through the process here: https://symless.com/synergy-2-beta4-troubleshooting Then be aware that beta 4 hates Linux. A few of us dropped back to version 1, watching for beta 5. Soon, we are hoping.Ā
jaap aarts 65
to get the synergy logs type this in the terminal: synergy2 > someFile.txt synergy does collect its own log, but for me its really unreadable. this should output the logs from the current session into the file. if you want to type the '`' google how to do it on your keyboard layout. try using shift or alt. Rimers 0
I tried a few times more and decided to downgrade to have a working setup now waiting for the beta 5 to test again The logs did not shed light on why the linux system crashed but it did.Ā If wanted i will be glad to help doing more debugging and testing. /Nils
