jdinze 0
HI im using Synergy 1.8.8 on a WIN 10 box and a server 2008 R2 Enterprise edition. They are on different networks but can communicate with each other (ping, shares, etc). they connect through an ASA5505 with permit rules for TCP/UDP 24800. I can get them to connect initially and am able to move between screens for about a minute, then the client disconnects with :WARNING: failed to connect to server: Timed out: i can stop and restart the client and it connects. the server goes through this but the client times out: [2017-07-25T21:43:50] NOTE: new client disconnected [2017-07-25T21:43:51] NOTE: accepted client connection [2017-07-25T21:44:06] NOTE: new client disconnected [2017-07-25T21:44:07] NOTE: accepted client connection [2017-07-25T21:44:22] NOTE: new client disconnected [2017-07-25T21:44:23] NOTE: accepted client connection [2017-07-25T21:44:38] NOTE: new client disconnected [2017-07-25T21:44:39] NOTE: accepted client connection [2017-07-25T21:44:49] NOTE: new client disconnected [2017-07-25T21:46:40] NOTE: accepted client connection thanks
Paul Suarez 107
Hi @jdinze! There's a bigger change for it to be due to a network restriction. Can you try switching roles first? Or to connect to a different network to verify that it's reproducible?
