Paul Suarez 107
Try setting server's Synergy as Elevated Always. Click Edit Click Setting Set Elevate to Always Click OK Click Apply or Start
MNolanEBPs 0
Ok, Set to Elevate. I will let you know how it goes... The Synergy icon does not appear in the Taskbar notifications tray... Any suggestions regarding 'auto config'? Does 'auto config' require Bonjour? I have tried rebooting a couple of times now and it does seem to behave better... so far... Paul Suarez 107
Yes, auto config requires Bonjour.
MNolanEBPs 0
Do you recommend 'auto config'? If so why?
Paul Suarez 107
It is useful for machines that are connected to a network which only provides dynamic IP addresses. If you have reserved an IP address for your machines, it would be best to manually enter it. However there are a lot of changes that will be implemented on v2. Specially for the use of auto config feature. We just can't provide any ETAs for v2 yet.
MNolanEBPs 0
As suggestion... The windows dialog convention is to have a Close, Cancel or OK button in the lower right hand corner. Synergy has a 'Stop' button in the lower right hand corner which makes stopping the application a normal occurrence. I would recommend adding a 'Close' 'Cancel' or OK button in the lower right and corner and moving the Apply and Stop buttons to the left. See attached JPG
MNolanEBPs 0
OK, thanks. Good luck on v2
