Grant Overby
I'd like to use a keypad similar https://www.amazon.com/XK-24-USB-Programmable-Keypad-Windows/dp/B003MB780E such that when I push a key on it, it does a key press on another machine. The obvious solution is to program a keypad button to be something like cmd+opt+shift+k then map that in Synergy. This consumes a key combination on the main computer such that cmd+opt+shift+k no longer does what it use to. Ideally, I'd like to make the usual qwerty keyboard always function as normal, and only have the synergy interact with the keypad. I haven't used the keypad I linked or any like it. Before I order one to experiment, has anyone used a similar setup? How did you configure it? Which keypad?
