I think I'm still on synergy-v1.8.3-stable-db9181b-MacOSX107-x86_64, which doesn't pass modifier keys (shift, option, command) to a TeamViewer Windows session on the Mac client from the Synergy Mac server. But that's better than crashing.
Paul Suarez
Have you tried updating to v1.8.8?

Paul Suarez
I see. However, Synergy only supports MacOS 10.9.X and up. See this knowledge base article.
Charles Kahn
So before 10.9.X existed, Synergy didn't work?
Paul Suarez
It did work. Additional question, do you have the SSL turned on for your server machine? Can you provide details for your client machine too?
Charles Kahn
Client is OS 10.12.4. SSL is off. v1.8.8 crashes on server before SSL can be turned on.
Paul Suarez
Can you try v1.9.0 instead? You can get it from this thread.
Charles Kahn
Synergy_v1.9.0_rc3 refused to launch on 10.8.5.
