Failed to connect to server warning

Hello,

I am a new user of Synergy and would really like to get it working, but I'm having some issues.

If anyone has any input on my situation, I would greatly appreciate it. :)

I continually get a WARNING: failed to connect to server message.

I have the server and client both installed on separate PCs running Windows 10

I can ping both of them on my network, both ways.

On the client, the server IP is set to the IP address that is in bold on the server.

Here is the log info from the server:

2017-02-14T21:53:28] INFO: watchdog status: error

[2017-02-14T21:55:08] INFO: starting server

I forgot t mention, I had initially installed 1.8.7

Today I uninstalled 1.8.7 and tried 1.8.8.

I got the same results with both.
