Ricardo A Valencia Melende Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 I have been using this awesome software for more than a month now, and after the lastest update 1.8.7 I started having this "Warining" showing up on my Client (Mac Book pro) WARNING: failed to connect to server: Timed out Has anyone have encountered this issue before? if so, would you mind helping me out?
Ricardo A Valencia Melende Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 UPDATE: I have completetly uninstalled the software on both computers, deleted all the files located in the REGEDIT tool on windows, and used Appcleaner on my Mac, however, this has not solved this problem. What is going on? :?:

Holly Paddock Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I was having a similar issue since 1.8.2 on the Mac. I have my Mac as the client and my Windows 7 computer as the server. Updating the Windows version of Synergy would always work fine. Anytime I updated the Mac beyond 1.8.2 I would start getting a similar error message. Finally by really scrubbing Synergy off the Mac and installing the 1.8.7 stable version I got it working again. I used this: https://uninstallmacapp.com/synergy-removal.html Not the app they suggest but just the instructions of tracking down all the files to fully remove Synergy from the Mac before reinstalling. Hope this helps!
