What is the correct procedure to activate the pro version?

I made the payment for the upgrade to pro version, as I do to download, only find the download of the basic version.

I was with version 1.8.6 and now I have installed version 1.8.7, but it is still as basic version.

I installed the new version without uninstalling the previous one.

Thanks for upgrading to Synergy Pro edition.

 

To switch from Synergy Basic to Synergy Pro:

 

1. Click File

2. Click Activate

3. Paste in the new serial key from your account page

4. Finally, click OK

 

That should do the trick!

That doesn't work for me on my mac. It stays as basic version. (1.8.7). It's activated with my current serial number (pro, activates as pro on Windows) but it's still Basic on mac.

Ok I got it working by uninstalling it completely along with all config files using CleanMyMac then installing fresh again.
