synergys.exe crash when stopping

I keep synergy window hidden (it'd be nice to be able to start hidden by the way). So here's what I do to get the crash:

 

• Start server and client
  
• Use synergy for a bit
  
• Sleep the client (close the laptop)
  
• Right click on the synergy icon in the toolbar (bottom right of windows desktop) of the server
  
• Choose 'stop'
  
• Get a popup saying "synergys.exe has stopped working"

 

This has happened consistently for a long time (many updates back) for me. I just click 'close the program' and next time I use the toolbar icon to start synergy it works fine, so I've been ignoring it. It's just a bit of a pain.
