Gary Hull
My server is a Windows 10 machine running Webroot for virus protection. My Client is an Ubunto machine that was just started this week. It seems that all the updates are done. The two would not connect so I changed the HostName on the linux box. Because the Windows is not case sensitive and Linux is and I had some caps in the Hostname. However, It that host name will not show up on the start up screen on that computer. I also have quicksynergy running on the linux box Now when the server is running it says the connection is disconnected. And it is showing the incorrect client name I have tried to uninstall/re install to correct this issue and it will not work On the Client side it is also showing the wrong name and it has the correct IP address. The error here is server refused client with name that is incorrect. Can someone help
