1.8.6 Crash on launch with Mac OSX 10.7.5

Running Synergy 1.8.6 on Mac OS X 10.7.5 crashes immediately on launch. The generated crash log is below, although it doesn't seem to provide much information at all. Anyone else running on 10.7.5 or older and experiencing the same issue?

Here the same issue. Running Synergy 1.8.6 latest download on Mac OSX 10.7.5 with the same crash. The log is practically the same. Is this crash noted by Synergy?

OSX 10.10.5 is doing the same thing.

Bummer. I should ignore the upgrade nag messages

1.8.5 does the same, the crash report is pretty much identical. I'm currently running 1.7.5 without any problems.

Well, worse case scenario. 1.8.5 doesn't crash, but when I test 1.8.6 again, it now doesn't crash either.

 

Maybe it had something to do with the interaction with the server. Don't know. I think you guys will have to go on the stack trace above.

Just hopping in here, got a Mac running 10.7.5 and crashing each time I run Synergy 1.8.6. Was running 1.8.0 beta no problems

Sorry guys, we introduced a Mac unified installer support from to 10.9 to 10.12. That is the why it crashes on any macOS below to 10.9

I bought this specifically to go between an old Mac Pro running 10.7.5 and my MacBook Pro running 10.12

 

At first I was disappointed that it didnt work on OSX 10.7.5 but you can go to the downloads page:

and click "Alternate Versions" on the bottom, then you can select version 1.7.5 for Mac and by Mac version

That's what I just did and I've only been running this software for a few minutes but I'm very impressed so far!
