Some Special Characters not working correctly

Synergy Version: 1.86

Server: Mac OS 10.12.1 Sierra

Client: Windows 7

Keyboard: Apple Wired Keyboard with Numeric Keypad

 

Since I have upgraded to version 1.86, some special characters are not mapped correctly when I am on the client (windows 7) screen. The mapping looks like this:

 

Key --> How it displays on the client machine

 

[ --> @

] --> [

\ --> ]

= --> ^

 

Shift + 2 --> "

Shift + 6 --> &

Shift + 7 --> '

Shift + 8 --> (

Shift + 9 --> )

Shift + 0 --> 0

Shift + - --> =

Shift + = --> ~

Shift + [ --> `

Shift + ] --> {

Shift + \ --> }

Shift + ; --> +

Shift + ' --> *

 

As you can see, some mapping seems to be simply off by one key to the right. Others don't make much sense in their relation to the correct key.

It turns out this was a Mac OS Sierra issue. After updating Sierra to 10.12.2 today, the problem was resolved.
