BR Posted November 5, 2016 Author Posted November 5, 2016 Hi there, I've just downloaded and installed Synergy 64-bit on both a Windows 8.1 64-bit Macbook (server) and Windows 8.1 64-bit PC (client), and while the two work perfectly after starting Synergy, the service seems to crash repeatedly. Is there an obvious fix for this (or more information I can provide)? Cheers!
Brian Schnitzer Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 I have the same issue in Windows 7 64-bit. synergys.exe has stopped working errors, especially when my display locks after inactivity. This happens with both the 64 bit and 32 bit version of v1.8.5-stable-a18eba7

setup0 Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 I find this is happening more frequently when DNS name resolution is failing or timing out. Abnormal termination of synergys.exe is coinciding with windows logs like these: Name resolution for the name firefox.com timed out after none of the configured DNS servers responded.
