Tyler J. Wilson Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 I just updated to 1.8.2 hoping the update would fix this, but it has not. For a long time now my server, Windows 7 Ultimate, as not been sending control keypresses to my client, Lubuntu 14.04. Everything else seems to work fine, I just can't do any copy/paste/select all or any other commands that use the control key. Anyone know what could be the cause of my trouble? It seems to be on the Windows side because sometimes the program bugs up and DOES work, but after the Windows machine restarts the problem comes back.
Stephen Boyer Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 I can confirm that this is also happening intermittently for me. Windows 7 Pro server and a Debian Jessie system. What seems to get it working again for me is copying text from my Debian system and pasting it on my Windows system, then the clipboard seems to be shared and the hotkeys will work. I have no idea why this is, though to be fair I haven't put a whole lot of time into testing this. I'm not even sure if this is a sure-fire solution as I try to keep my Windows system up as long as possible.
