Drag and drop not working on Windows

I have installed Synergy Basic. My synergy server is a Win 7 PC and the client is running Win 10 (both 64 bit). Mouse operation is working fine but when I drag a file to the left edge of the screen, the file icon disappears but no file is copied to the client desktop. I have two monitors on the server which means I am dragging the file icon to the left edge of my 2nd (left hand) monitor. The log files on both PCs state that drag and drop is enabled. Any suggestions on how to get drag and drop working properly?

Drag and drop works ok from the Win 10 client to the Win 7 server, but not the other way round. This is the debug log: [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: thread 0x00002a84 entry [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG: sending file to client, filename=G:\Users\Jonathan\Desktop\Nov-Dec 2015.pdf [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:51] DEBUG1: sending file chunk [2016-07-06T11:11:52] DEBUG1: try to leave "OPTX7010" on left [2016-07-06T11:11:52] INFO: previous dragged file has become invalid [2016-07-06T11:11:52] INFO: switch from "OPTX7010" to "VOST430" at 1915,455 [2016-07-06T11:11:52] DEBUG1: send leave to "OPTX7010" [2016-07-06T11:11:52] DEBUG: file transmission interrupted [2016-07-06T11:11:52] DEBUG1: thread 0x00002a84 exit I tried 3 times and on the third time the file copied ok (200KB size), but clearly drag and drop is not a reliable feature at the moment.
