Yan Theriault Posted May 25, 2016 Author Share Posted May 25, 2016 Computer 1 - Mac with OS 10.9.5 Computer 2 - Xubuntu I am trying to connect my Mac as a server to my Linux as a client. But the linux client always return the -Server refused our name "yanlinux"- error. My linux skills are limited to "idiot" level. I am a total ignorant. I tryed the other way around and it worked like a charm. Could it be the IP or something? Mac Ip is 192.168.0.101 and linux IP 192.168.0.104. Could my mac IP be conflicting or something?
