Creating configuration tile to specify client monitor position

I'm attempting to create a configuration file that will set the client monitor's position.  Are there instructions anywhere?

Hi gnewell,

We have instructions on our website about config file creation/editing - https://symless.com/help-articles/creating-text-config-files

Please note that you can define where the client monitor is in relation to the server (ie. up,down, left, right), but if you have multiple client monitors then the positioning will need to be defined/changed in the OS. Synergy will "see" the client as having one monitor (even though there may be multiple monitors within that 'box').

I hope that helps, if you need further assistance please feel free to ask either here or open a support ticket - https://symless.com/synergy/contact-support

Daniel, thank you so much for passing this along. I'll dive into this and see if I can get my monitors configured. I really appreciate your help.

Of course, no problem. If you can't quite get it figured out, then please forward a copy of the config file as well as a drawing illustrating your monitor setup and we will be happy to help.

You are the best!  I'll get going on it and give you a shout if I can't figure it out.

Great news Stefan Verleysen had a zoom meeting with me this morning and we're working on it now.  We're meeting again on Monday to continue the search for a solution.  Thanks again!
