Synergy stopped working when I updated to Mac OS 12.1

I had everything up and running on mac M1 Macbook Pro and my iMac and then I updated to 12.1. I was using the versions downloaded two days ago. Now the app won't launch on either system. 

Anyone else have this problem? Any ideas of a workaround? 

I sent a message to support, but I haven't heard anything back.

Hi there, 

Synergy may just be minimized in the menu bar at the top of your screen. Please check there for the Synergy icon, click on it and click show.
