Macbook being used via Synergy will frequently mess up login after Mac goes into screensaver...

The exact issue is that if the screensaver turns on I may not get the box to log in again unless I press the power button repeatedly. Not sure if the Macbook is confused and thinks there is another monitor connected and tries to show it on the other screen. This is pretty frustrating since I have to remove the Macbook from a dock and hit the power button a bunch of times to get it to work.

Is this a known issue?  Work arounds?
