I'm using 1.10.3 and have been for about a year now. Things have been working fairly well with a few minor glitches here and there. I run the server on a Win1064 machine, and one client on a Mac Pro. Yesterday things just stopped working. The server appears to be running ok, but the client refuses to connect. I turned on debug2 and here is what I'm getting. Unfortunately this all means nothing to me, so I'm hoping someone else might have an idea. I have already done complete uninstall/reinstalls several times and still no love.

Hi, 

It looks like your configuration might have changed, as the server is rejecting that client because the name doesn't match what it expects

I did a complete clean uninstal/linstall and set up after it stopped working, so it shouldn't be expecting any name right?

Yes, 

The server refuses to let clients connect if it doesn't recognize the name of it, you need to configure the server with the client's name and location relative to the server before it can connect

Here is the start-up guide, it should help you set up the server to let the client connect.

Edit: I must correct myself, this assumes manual mode, auto-config should connect automatically yes. I have a manual mode on mine and for a moment o forgot about Auto config. However, if auto mode is failing to connect I would recommend trying to manually to see if synergy can connect at all. if not i would recommend contacting support to help troubleshoot the problem in more depth
