b123_ Posted November 5, 2019 Posted November 5, 2019 Running 1.10.3 Pro on windows 10 v1903 and getting this error message when trying to load Windows Remote Assistance. It says C:\Program Files\Synergy\synwinhk.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. I found another person who had an issue with a stardock application and they said they got it running by adjusting exploit settings: 1) Open Settings2) Goto Update and security3) Pick Windows security and use the Open WIndows Security button4) Pick app and browser control5) Find Exploit protection and click exploit protection settings6) Click program settings7) Add a program, using by program name8) Enter msra.exe and click add9) Scroll down the list of options until you find "Disable extension points"10) Tick override system settings and then slide it to ON11) Apply and ensure msra.exe is not running via taskmanager I tried this and it didnt work. Anyone experience this? I was using an old free synergy version for a long time but recently purchased pro after having some issues with my mac and catalina.
