Mouse getting lost randomly when switching between monitors

For the most part everything has been working ok, but at random points in time when I move my mouse from my Linux computer to the remote Windows computer it will disappear from both computers and I won't be able to get it back until I disable synergy on the remote computer. Even though it's infrequent, the fact that the bug is so catastrophic and inconvenient it means that I can't really use the application at all. I am on the latest beta, 2.0.12 on both computers.

 

Is this a known issue? Are there any currently known workarounds?
