Synergy 1 client running as a service in Linux

Recommended Posts

Since S3 will not be here any time soon. I cannot run S2 in my environment (been there, tried that, and went back to S1). And the only current stable version supported until S3 come along is S1...

Is there a way (or it will be implemented) to run the S1 client as a service, so keyboard and mouse are available before login?

I'm really tired of going through the hoops to start the synergy client every time I have to reboot any of my Linux systems.

I've already opened a support ticket a while back, but that did not go anywhere.
