kohster Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 I'm running Synergy1 (have upgraded to synergy_1.10.1-stable_b87-8941241e_macos with same issue occurring) on a MacBook Pro running macOS Mojave 10.14.2 as the server and a Mac mini running macOS El Capitan 10.11.6 as the client. I utilize SSH tunneling as well, so I always leave Synergy running on the mini pointed at localhost as the server. Then, on the MBP, to establish the connection, I launch Synergy and then in a Terminal window establish an SSH session using remote port forwarding. ssh -R 24800:<IP of MBP>:24800 <hostname of mini> After the SSH session is established, then the Synergy connection comes up, and I can move the mouse over to mini screen no problem. The issue is that keyboard input doesn't get sent over reliably, so keyboard input still goes to whatever is the foreground app on the MBP. I used to fix this by clicking the stop/start button in the Synergy app on the MBP, but what I think is actually happening is that keyboard input isn't sent across the link when Terminal is the foreground app on the MBP. Anyone else seeing this?
