Synergy must manually be re-started every time I wake the computer

Using Synergy Pro 1.1--1 Stable.  Ubuntu 16.04 is server.  Windows 10 1803 is client.

Everything has worked well for months until I rebuilt the Windows machine the other day.  Now, every time I suspend the Windows 10 machine I have to manually start Synergy.  That is, the client is still running and I have the GUI visible, but I have to connect a mouse and click the start button in the client.  I've attached a screen shot of the client GUI.

Any ideas?
