Lock and Unlock Monitors

Hello All,

I just bought Synergy today! I'm getting into the streaming world and I run to PCs for streaming.  I wanted to know if I could lock the mouse and keyboard to one system and then unlock it when I needed to move over to another system?  I would hate to be in the middle of a game with my mouse over on my other PC.

Yes, you can press Scroll Lock to lock/unlock it from the current/active system.  Sometimes it doesn't detect the keypress though, so you may have to press it twice for it to detect it.

@iperez Thanks for the tip about Scroll Lock this works as advertised on my desktop, do you know if there's an alternative way to lock for laptops which don't have a Scroll Lock key?

You can try the on screen keyboard (osk.exe) if you are on Windows.  I don't believe there is a way to customize the key at this point, so simulating the key is the only option.

You can customize it in Synergy 1 using the hotkey settings, but this hasn't yet made it to Synergy 2 Beta.
