Touchscreen control compatibility

Hi,

I am using a Windows PC as my server and my client is running Ubuntu. I use Xdisplay to show my screen on an ipad as well as control the computer with the touchscreen. Using a capture card I am able to have the screen of the Ubuntu client displayed on the ipad as well. With this setup I am able to use the mouse with the client no issues, but the touchscreen input is not translated correctly. Are there any known solutions for properly translating the touchscreen controls to the client running Ubuntu?
