Synergy 2 beta (latest) appears to cause kernel panic

My Mac Mini has been crashing every day for the last few days, sometimes more than once per day. This is very unusual, as in the past it was a year or two between kernel panics, it was very stable.

Anyway, I checked /Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports and saw numerous Kernel......panic entries. All but one identified synergy-service as the process. Here is the top of one:

In the meantime, I'm shutting off synergy-service and seeing if that stablizes my Mac once again.

Since posting, it happened again, another kernel panic within about 30 minutes, seeming to point to synergy-service again. I removed Synergy 2 beta per this page:

https://symless.com/forums/topic/4519-synergy-2-how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall/

and will wait until there is another version to try again.
