v1.9.1 Unrecognized client name

I was trying to use v2 but after the decision to call v2 a beta, and still disheartened by its functionality, I decided to try the last stable v1.

I have two Win10 PC's.

I have gotten to the point where they are trying to talk to each other, but are failing.

On the Server, I see this:

2018-06-11T09:21:18] INFO: OpenSSL 1.0.2o  27 Mar 2018

[2018-06-11T09:21:18] NOTE: client "Vonnegut" has disconnected

On the Client, I see something similar ' failed to connect to server: server refused client with out name '

I have already fixed the warning/error messages associated with SSL -- at least, I don't see them in the current log.

I saved a new configuration file but don't see where to add the client's name. I tried in a couple places, but without documentation*, was unsuccessful

Any help is appreciated.

Craig

*it is odd that the Getting Started Guide is behind a registration required system. I have requested access to the symless system, but expect to wait as I am in central Europe.

On v1, you often have to go into the server config and manually add the client. It's supposed to prompt you on the first connection attempt, but doesn't much of the time.

I watched for the prompt, but never got it.

Where can I find details on what to / where to add info to the config file?

Thanks.

I did not see the "drag" text, click/double click did not work. Then I abandoned the GUI to try fixing it with a text editor.

So easy when one knows the process.

Thank you very much.

(Had to restart twice, but now working)
