nullcode Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 I am new to Synergy and just got the pro version for my mac and windows PC. Everything works as it should, however I am an engineer who does a ton of network testing, and whenever the Internet goes out for s few seconds, I loose access to my mac, even though the local LAN is fully functional still. It seems as this software is cloud based and seems to detect the outage and outomatically disconnect the peers. Is there a way to prevent this behavior? I read v1 may be better for this - is there a way I can download this version to test? thanks!
mourngrym1969 Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 You can beg the support people, who will just tell you to open a support ticket and delay you as much as they can for whatever reason. Or you can get the original and non-cloud monetized version (last version was 1.8.8) which works fine in local implementations on your LAN - https://sourceforge.net/projects/synergy-stable-builds/
