v1.7.1 OSX Event Queue is not ready

I just updated my mac and windows boxes to v1.7.1 today and I now get the following error on my mac (client). Same crash here, 1.7.1 on OS X 10.8. With debug output (note 2,800+ lines of repeated output snipped). If I connect a physical mouse and click 'Start' in the Synergy window, all works fine from there. It seems to be the first launch that's causing the problem. Is this still happening after updating to 1.7.2? If so, if you turn off encryption does it still happen? Synergy menu -> Preferences
