how to suspend synergy?

How do you or when will we be able to suspend synergy? now that its a background service it's always on, which is fine if yoy always want to the same computers connected in the same way. But I sometimes I use my laptop not connected to my desktop, and in those cases I'd like synergy "turned off" Also when I'm at the office I don't use synergy so I really don't see a reason to have it on either. In my opinion the best solution would be a tray icon with the ability to turn the service on and off, as well as bring up the gui (I'll post this to the suggestions as well)
