IT Troll Posted October 30 Posted October 30 (edited) So Synergy 3 RC3 has been out for over a year now. There have been some minor build increments but no significant updates and oddly, no official final/stable release. Copy/Paste seems to be an ongoing issue for several forum users, but it feels like development has stagnated a little. Can we get a bit of an update from the dev team and perhaps a roadmap of what is in the pipeline? Edited October 30 by IT Troll Quote
Synergy Team Daniel Evenson Posted October 30 Synergy Team Posted October 30 Hi @IT Troll We’re currently developing Synergy 3.2, which introduces experimental support for Wayland, along with various improvements and bug fixes. Since version 3.0.80-RC3, we’ve released several updates, including Synergy 3 (3.1.2-beta and 3.1.3-beta) and Synergy 1 (1.15.1 and 1.16.1-beta). Looking forward to sharing more exciting news with you soon! 1 Quote
IT Troll Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 Great news! Perhaps share it more. I had no idea about the betas. 1 Quote
IT Troll Posted October 30 Author Posted October 30 Also surprised to see amount of changes in the recent Synergy 1 releases. Seems like that is where the action is now. Which is quite a confusing resurrection. Quote

A roadmap or at least some communication from the dev team would go a long way in reassuring the community. It’s understandable that some bugs might take time, but transparency about what’s being worked on—or if resources have shifted away—would help set expectations. Edited November 19 by Mason_D 1 Quote
IT Troll Posted November 19 Author Posted November 19 The resurrection of Synergy 1 is certainly a rather confusing change of direction. Fingers crossed that 3.2 addresses some of the long-standing bugs in the modern branch. Quote
