Dan Catinella Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 I am running Mac OSX 10 as a server and Windows 7 machine as client. I would like to have the COMMAND key function the same way across both machines. Basically I want to mimic the Mac keyboard on the PC machine. Is this possible without third party software?
Ben Koenig Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 All Operating Systems have a way to set up your Keyboard map. This is how your apps know which keys you are pressing. I would definitely see if changing the keyboard map in Windows to a Mac layout, instead of standard PC helps it recognize that button. Standard PC keymaps are US 104 or 110 keys. If you've ever used a dvorak or azerty keyboard the process to configure it is the same. Let me know if you have a Mac Keyboard map setting in Windows 7.
Dan Catinella Posted June 10, 2015 Author Posted June 10, 2015 Doesn't look like I have a Mac option any where on the list.
