A bit like how Microsoft reintroduced the start menu in Windows 8.1. We know that people are going to want manual mode back, but first, we need to focus on auto-config in 2.0 (as it'll make life easier for more people). We will always aim to please the majority, before trying to please the minority. Fair enough. If you can accept that there will be a number of folks who can't implement 2.0 due to firewall or administrative restrictions, then I can accept the idea of waiting till 2.1 to deploy in those environments. (As long as you don't take 18 or so months to get that functionality into the package, as did Micro$oft with Windows 8.1).

Popular Post AA_Anonymous 4
I really enjoy V2 Beta. Nick - Thx for enabling it for me I don't think most are power users in the sense of sysadmins or people working in terminal/cli all day. I tried configuring v1 by myself and hated life for an hour or two until I remembered that I needed to configure the other computer monitor (under configure server). V1 works perfectly but it's definitely not targeted to the general audience.  V2 on the other hand.... My grandma could set this up. The only change that I needed to make was the firewall on my Win10 computer. Host is Linux. I'm waiting until v2 GR before I setup the application at a mortgage shop that I'm a partial owner of (50+ licenses). I'm also referring all my fellow day traders. This will make life so much easier for us that have 6 monitors and 3 computers running charts, depth of market and other platform features. Most of us have to use 1 computer because of this and we're constantly bogging down rescources. If we can use our MBP, desktop and another machine with the same mouse, it will go a long ways. To the OP - I think you could've found a better way to air your displeasure with the product. I don't think this is the place to create a lynch mob. "Sorry for the language, but it's been a long day and I am very, VERY disappointed " ---- You are not sorry, otherwise you would've reworded it.

I wouldn't stress about that.
