Would it be an option for you to temporarily uninstall Teamviewer for us to see if it is really affecting Synergy?

Uninstalling it seems to have fixed this issue with Synergy

Let's try doing the steps below after you re-install TeamViewer.

  1. Right click on the TeamViewer icon in the system tray and select Options
  2. Go to Advanced
  3. Click Show Advanced Options
  4. Scroll down the list, past midway, locate Advanced settings for Computers and Contacts, QuickConnect Button and click Configure
  5. Uncheck the box marked Show QuickConnect button, click OK and OK again

Paul, I tried this and the same issue happens. I can move my mouse around on my Mac but can't click on anything until I stop/start synergy on my PC(Server)
