Paul Suarez
Hi @jamesevarts3. May we ask as to how you have confirmed that it is indeed Synergy that causes your machine to restart?
jamesevarts3
i have contacted the laptop manufacture, doghouse systems, and they had me run some tests. i viewed a "view reliability history", ran unigine valley, and realtemp. unigine and realtemp showed no problems. the reliability history showed critical events involving synergys.exe. i did a fresh install and did not include synergy and the pc worked fine and the reliability history showed nothing. once i installed synergy, the randomly pc restarts started up again. my current fix is to only use synergy when i need it instead of running the program all the time
Paul Suarez
Thank you for the detailed information @jamesevarts3. Please provide more details about your machines (OS, 32/64 bit, Synergy version installed, connected to the network via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, specify which one is the server). Is it happening on both machines?
