Peter Posted February 6, 2017 Author Posted February 6, 2017 Hello, I have been having difficulties getting synergy to connect between my PC server and Mac client. I keep receiving an error message stating that the Network is unreachable. Other than that, there is nothing else being posted in the Log.
Peter Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 After having gone through all of my network settings, ip adjustments, and eventually undoing everything, what got Synergy to work was not specifying a specific IP address but using the server's name. It is funny, I did not try this at first because of all the topics I have read on other websites stating that this problem was caused by using the host name over an IP address. Hope this helps someone else, sometimes the solutions are the easiest ones that we dont consider.
