1.8.6 stable - cannot use SSL connection

I just installed v1.8.6 on:

 

• Windows 8.1 Pro; 64bit (Synergy server)
  
• Windows 10 Home; 64bit (Synergy client)
  
• Mac OS X 10.11.6 (Synergy client)

 

With "SSL" disabled, synergy works across all the hosts.

With "SSL" enabled, synergy only works between the Windows hosts

 

Is there a way to get the SSL connections working across all three platforms?
