how to disable copy/paste - I figured this is what crash it

I finally figured out what keeps crasing Synergy, it's copy/paste. If you have something on the clipboard then try to paste it on the other machine it just crashes the whole process on all systems and you have to SSH in and restart them all. The server needs to be kill -9'ed and also restarted. Super annoying.

 

Is there a way to just disable copy/paste functionality so this does not happen? I'm using 1.7.6. I cannot get the newer versions to compile because of all the added dependencies but from reading forum it looks like they crash too.
