dual monitors for server and client

I have two desktops running Linux Ubuntu, and both have dual monitors. Is a special config file needed to get synergy to work for this setup?

Generally Synergy handles this configuration just fine. If your secondary screen is an extension of the single desktop, it should work. You may want to look out for Linux trying to create separate desktops on each screen, which would be a problem for Synergy.
