SYNERGY is awesome and I use it everyday. A long time paid user I updated to the Synergy Pro edition yesterday. I'm running v. 1.7.1 on both PC's and it worked yesterday. However, today when I started up the PC's the Server is giving the following message. ERROR: secure socket error: SSL_ERROR_SSL ERROR: 140790E5:SSL routines:ss123_write:ssl handshake failure. The Client message is simply the WARNING: failed to connect to server: Timed out NOTE: connecting to '192.168.1.111:24800 I looked in the FAQ's and don't see this addressed nor did it turn up using the search function so I've called for support. ********** UPDATE: I have not heard from the Synergy team....yet. In the mean time I've reloaded the previous version (V1.6.3) and am "back up and running."

I was having the same problem and getting the same error message. On my CLIENT computer, I went into Edit/Settings. I unclicked the box under network security (use SSL encrypition). Now it is working like a charm!
